Bondage

Lots more to be added to this page, but for now -

Bondage can be a loaded word. Pictures of girls with gags in their mouth, hogtied instantly come to mind. There is always a worry that the people who participate within this, may not be enjoying themselves. I can tell you, there are many out there who would inform you that they most certainly do enjoy themselves. Thoroughly. Bondage can be extreme with ropes and chains and tight handcuffs, with you being spread-eagled on a surface or hogtied on the floor. Or, it can be gentle with scarfs and funny, cute, furry handcuffs that come in a whole range of colours and patterns. See, you can have fun and be tortured at the same time :)

Bondage and Discipline are two aspects of BDSM that do not seem to relate to each other because of the type of activities involved, but they have conceptual similarities, and that is why they appear jointly.

The term "Bondage" describes the practice of Physical restraining. Bondage is often, but not always, a sexual practice. Bondage is a very popular variation within the larger field of BDSM.

Studies among BDSM practitioners in the USA have shown that about half of all Men find the idea of bondage to be erotic, with a high percentage of Women also finding an attraction within this world.

Strictly speaking, bondage means binding the partner by tying their appendages together; for example, by the use of handcuffs or by lashing their arms to an object. Bondage can also be achieved by spreading the appendages and fastening them with chains to a St. Andrews cross or spreader bars.
