A form of Zoophilia, (a sexual intrest in non human animals), this form of Zoophilia involves insects.

People with Formicophilia will receive pleasure from having insects, crawl, bite, slime, wriggle and tickle a person's arms, legs, or genitalia.

The term was founded by two men;- Doctors of phycology Ratnin Dewaraja and John Money in 1986, and it is derived from the Latin words Formica (ant) and Philia (love).
